“Once Around The Room” is premiering at Vinterjazz in Copenhagen on February 10 and is then coming to Village Vanguard for the US Premiere in New York in May.
On February 10th 2023 in the amazing DR Koncerthuset “Once Around The Room – A Tribute To Paul Motian” (ECM, 2022) is performed live by Joe Lovano, Jakob Bro, Larry Grenadier, AC, Jorge Rossy and Joey Baron. Tickets are available now via drkoncerthuset.dk.
The opening set of the evening will be music from the celebrated album “Returnings” (ECM 2018) feat. the great percussionist Marilyn Mazur and not least trumpet icon Palle Mikkelborg, who is back on stage for the first time after a one-year reflection break.
