In a luminous acoustic dialogue recorded in Tokyo, Danish guitarist Jakob Bro meets Japanese ambient pioneer and percussionist Midori Takada. The result is Until I Met You—a meditative, genre-defying duet of acoustic guitar, marimba, piano, and percussion. The title, drawn from one of Takada’s compositions, speaks to the quiet transformation of friendship, as two singular artists blend their voices into a new and deeply intimate sonic ecosystem. Originally commissioned by Pierre Boulez Saal, this transcontinental collaboration also features upcoming live performances across Europe and Japan.
